Exciting news: we are thrilled to announce that Wine Destinations was voted Best Wine Travel Content Creators in the World at the 1st Annual VinoInfluencers World Awards. The event took place in Valladolid, Spain where 150 content creators from 26 countries gathered to visit some of the most emblematic wineries of Castilla y León and to participate in a black-tie gala that recognized ten content creators in ten different categories. This is the first event that has solely focused on recognizing content creators in the wine industry.

The winners of the awards were selected by a panel of wine experts and industry professionals. The panel members were:

Almudena Alberca MW - The first and only woman in Spain to have earned the title of Master of Wine

Sandra Andújar - President and Co-Founder of the Spanish Luxury Federation - Elite Spain

Martín Berasategui- The Spanish Chef with the most Michelin Stars in Spain and the third most in the world

Victor Ovidio Fernández Ortiz - Director of the Museo Provincial del Vino of Valladolid in Peñafiel

Cristina Forner - CEO of Marqués de Cáceres

Ernesto Gallud - Secretary General of Spain’s Association for Journalists and Writers of Wine

Blanca Jiménez Cuadrillero - Councilwoman of the City of Valladolid and Delegate for the City in the Departments of Tourism, Events and Branding

Gonzalo López - Managing Director of Sony Music Spain

Iván Massagué - Movie, theater and TV actor as well as winery owner and winemaker

Carlos Moro - Founder and President of Bodegas Familiares Matarromera

José Peñín - Acclaimed wine writer and Founder of Guía Peñín

The award gala took place in Valladolid at the Miguel Delibes Cultural Center and Theater and its objective was to recognize the work of content creators that focus on transmitting the culture, traditions and innovations in the world of wine. The categories and winners were:

Wine Destinations founder, Robert Pulliza García, was present at the gala to receive the now coveted Copa de Oro (Golden Cup) Award.
